After a frustrating start of 2 dead battery we finally got on the road to Texas 1-14-12 about 11:30 AM. We drove to Oklahoma City and stayed at KOA. It was good to be on the road. The next day we headed toward Dallas and stayed at KOA there. We at dinner at "Rockfish" and it was great with good prices. We can highly recommend it.
The next day we got up and went to Motor Home Specialist (MHSR.com) to talk to a salesman we had visited with online, Buck Buckner. Well to make a long story short, we ended up trading our motorhome for a new 2011 Monaco Diplomat. They had a place for us to camp there in their huge lot with nice surroundings. It took a couple of days to do paper work and transfer belongings from one to the other. Boy, what a job!!! It was liking moving an apartment up and down stairs.
